In the prosecution of the 1988 Wimbledon final against Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg is in top form and flies towards his first success at the Championships. In this rally, played at the very start of the fourth set, on a deep volley by his opponent he makes room for the ball with a quick footwork and unexpectedly hits a backhand passing down the line that lands right on the line.
