Some images from Stefan Edberg's matches at the Australian Open of 1988, 1989 and 1990, three very unlucky editions for the Swede. In 1988 he lost in five sets to fellow countryman Mats Wilander in a re-match of the 1985 all Swede final won by Edberg in Kooyong, while the two following years he was forced to retire from the tournament due to injury. His withdrawal in the 1990 final against Ivan Lendl remains a unique case in the Grand Slam finals of Open Era.
