Stefan was interviewed in Bastad on July 13, 2007 by Swedish site hd.se
Edberg: "I am here and watching a bit of tennis, it's a fantastic week to be here in Båstad, I think of the event here and see the fantastic courts that have been made. So it has been a nice week up to now."
What do you think about it?
Edberg: "I think it is fantastic. They invested for the future and there are modern courts that will live many years and I think it is the right direction to get people and players here. I think it is fantastic here in Båstad, it is comfortable, I like playing here and that is important."
What are you doing at present?
Edberg: "I'm working not that much with tennis today but I'm living in Sweden and am working with some other things there."
Edberg: "I am joint owner of an asset management company, CASE, which I am working for much of the time and I have some real estate properties and I'm working some time from home with other things as well."
What do you think will be the effect of the fact that after Söderling has been eliminated no Swedish player is in the tournament any more?
Edberg: "This remains to be seen. It would have been fantastic if Robin had reached the semifinals on Saturday but there are, of course, many other good tennis players and we will see good tennis. But we were used to seeing Swedes in the tournament for a long time which was nice, but I think it can still be nice."
